Twentieth Anniversary Celebration

In celebration of our first 20 years, we hold a special 20th anniversary celebration weekend. Saturday focuses on sharks with a full day of activities celebrating these amazing predators, our white shark in the Outer Bay and the Aquarium's Sharks: Myth and Mystery special exhibition. On Sunday the spotlight is on children and families; all children ages 12 years and younger receive free admission.
Special guests include actor and comedian George Lopez, who participated in the sea otter program; author Peter Benchley and photographer David Doubilet, who make presentations about sharks; artist Ray Troll; and children's entertainers Linda Arnold and Juan L. Sanchez.
We thank all those whose support over many years has helped us achieve so much toward our mission of inspiring conservation of the world's oceans. Many of our visitors sent us letters about their favorite Aquarium memories.
