The study, called "Why Zoos and Aquariums Matter: Visitor Impact Study," details the impact of a zoo or aquarium visit.

Developed in partnership with the Monterey Bay Aquarium, it shows that adults who visit zoos and aquariums feel a stronger connection to nature, gain a better understanding of their roles in wildlife conservation, and are more likely to see themselves as part of the solution.
