The Aquaravan outreach program rolls off the drawing board and begins bringing live marine animals into schools far from the bay. Its costumed staff and skits about marine life receive an enthusiastic reception. The program later expands to include visits to senior centers, hospitals, libraries and fairs. It is even featured on a CBS Sunday Morning broadcast.
