Vital Volunteers
Summer 1991
From opening day through 1991,
volunteers have donated more than half a million hours to the Aquarium. They are an integral part of our success, giving their energy to work at the information desk, interpret the exhibits, guide school and tour groups, promote marine stewardship, fill clerical positions and help care for exhibits and animals. The invaluable contributions of our volunteers have allowed us to reach a greater audience with more effective programs than we ever dreamed possible.
