Mating Games: Reproduction and Survival in the Aquatic World offers the most diverse group of species in any of our special exhibits. Designed for the whole family, Mating Games is rich with live exhibits and activities that explain the innumerable methods various marine animals use to reproduce. Their survival stories show how precarious life really is and remind visitors that careless human actions can tip the balance toward the extinction of some of these species.Visitors' Comments from the Exhibit Message Board"The exhibit made me realize how delicate and fragile life can be.""At age 69 I thought I knew everything about sex, but this place taught me more. Keep up the great work you are doing in education." "It's nice when education is fun!" "Want Ads: Single moon jelly seeking same for mutual moon-time good times. Non-drinker (except for sea water), safety a must. We don't want to get squished!" "Sex, sex, sex. Is that all you marine biologists ever think of?" "I like the seahorses because the dad was the mom." |
