The 2002 Olympic Torch Relay pays a visit to the Aquarium en route to Salt Lake City for the Winter Olympic Games. We are honored to be selected to participate in the torch relay, with its inspiring Olympic theme, "Light the Fire Within." Senior marine biologist Dr. Steve Webster carries the flame from Hopkins Marine Station to the Aquarium via kayak.
