An outgrowth of our Seafood Watch program, Cooking for Solutions: Celebrity Chefs Celebrate Sustainable Cuisine is a three-day extravaganza of information, fine dining and food-related activities. We invite famous chefs to demonstrate that sustainable cooking and dining can be elegant and delicious and that individual seafood buying decisions can help assure a future with healthy oceans. The inaugural program honors renowned chef Alice Waters of Chez Panisse restaurant in Berkeley.An Annual FeastCooking for Solutions becomes a yearly event that advises consumers on sustainable seafood, the hallmark of our Seafood Watch program. Through the end of 2002, we distribute more than one million pocket guides as we expand our partnerships with Aquariums, zoos and conservation organizations worldwide. |
