Whole Foods Market, Aquarium Partner to Launch Sustainable Seafood Ratings Program

Whole Foods Market, in partnership with the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Blue Ocean Institute, has launched a sustainability-rating program for wild-caught seafood sold in all of its 298 stores. The company is committed to ending sales of red-rated species by March 2013.
