Design for the Ocean is a semester-long after-school program offered to 8th- through 10th-grade students interested in designing solutions for ocean conservation problems using engineering skills. Teens learn about conservation science, the design thinking process and how to use state-of-the-art fabrication tools like laser cutters and 3D printers.
