With a Masters in Marine Biodiversity and Conservation from Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UC San Diego, Dominique has explored the sometimes-devastating impacts of commercial seafood production on the ocean. Her passion about marine conservation lead her to start New Wave Foods, a company with a mission to change the way we eat seafood. Through technology, New Wave Foods is creating seafood substitutes that don’t have to be harvested from highly vulnerable ecosystems and is instead crafted entirely in its food laboratories.
