Sunday Morning Road Closures (Nov. 12)

Between 6:15 a.m. and 9 a.m. Sunday morning, access to Cannery Row and the Aquarium will be redirected over Highway 68. The Lighthouse Avenue tunnel will be closed at 5:30 a.m. and access via Pacific Street will be closed at 6:15 a.m. for the Monterey Bay Half Marathon. While the Lighthouse Avenue tunnel will reopen at 9 a.m., several streets near the Aquarium, including Cannery Row, will also be closed until approximately 11 a.m. During this time, access to the Monterey Bay Coastal Recreation Trail will be limited to half marathon runners, with volunteer guides at the crosswalks allowing access to the Aquarium entrance.Get more road closure details on BSIM.org

Take the Trolley

The MST Trolley is a great travel option on both Saturday and Sunday—but please note that trolley service Sunday begins at 11 a.m. due to the half marathon. The free electric trolley runs every 10 to 15 minutes on weekends in fall and winter, stopping in downtown Monterey and at Fisherman's Wharf, Cannery Row and the Aquarium. You can hop on and hop off throughout the day, too.Get more trolley details on MST.org
