A whole lotter fun
Pioneering sea otter recovery and building for the future
For over 40 years, the Monterey Bay Aquarium has been at the forefront of sea otter conservation in California. Beyond captivating visitors and live cam audiences, the Aquarium’s sea otters play a crucial role behind the scenes. They assist in raising stranded pups and provide companionship to wild otters recovering from injuries, all as part of a groundbreaking sea otter surrogacy program.
