Statement on the passing of Dr. Peter Bing

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Dr. Peter Bing. He was an extraordinary champion of the Aquarium, through his decades of leadership as chair and a member of our Board of Trustees and through his generous support of our work to inspire conservation of the ocean. He and his wife, Helen, gave special attention to the exhibits and programs that have helped millions of young people fall in love with ocean life. We are so grateful for all he did. We send our condolences to Helen and to his family.
