Meet the lined jelly

The tracks along a lined jelly’s bell carry stinging cells for capturing food. Like many deep-sea drifters, this jelly swims to the surface at night. Concealed by darkness, it grazes on plankton, then descends to deeper waters at sunrise to hide.
