I'm having trouble logging in to my account
As of July 2025, we have launched a new field trip reservation system. All educators must create a new account using our new field trip reservation platform. Log in here to create a new account.
The first time you log in, you’ll need to add your school. Some schools require manual approval by our staff. We’ll process those as quickly as possible, and you’ll receive an email notification once your school is verified.
You cannot reserve a field trip until you create a new account and your school is verified.

What is my account?
We launched a new field trip reservation system in July 2025. To book a field trip, you must create an account. From your account, you can manage your school affiliations and reserve field trips once reservations are open.
If you also have a membership, you will continue to use your existing membership account to access member benefits. In your member account, you can reserve member tickets, check your expiration date, renew your membership, and find your member discount code for our gift shop and online store all by logging in to your account.
To log in, you must set up login credentials using an email address and password.
Do I need an account?
Yes, you’ll need an account to book a field trip.
Use this link to log in and add your school to your account. You must be affiliated with a verified school to reserve a field trip. This lets us know which school you'll be visiting from.
How to add your school:
- Search for your school by name, address, or NCES ID.
- If it’s not listed, click “Add a school” and enter the school’s name and address. Don’t forget to save your entry. Manually added schools will be reviewed by our staff. You’ll receive an email update within a few business days once your school is verified.
What are the password requirements?
Our new teacher accounts don’t use passwords. Instead, we use a secure login method, often called a magic link. When you go to the login page, enter your email address and click “Log in”. Then, check your inbox and click the link we send you to securely access your account.
This system helps protect your information by avoiding the risks of weak or reused passwords. Each link expires after a short time and can only be used once.
What if I forgot my password?

Why don't I see my membership details when I am logged in?
With the launch of our new field trip reservation system in July 2025, your teacher and member accounts are now separate. To see your membership details, try logging in to your existing member account. If you still have trouble, contact us at 831.648.4880 or membership@mbayaq.org (available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.).
I'm a member, but the forgot password isn't working. What's wrong?
We likely have a different email address on file for you. Please contact us at 831.648.4880 or membership@mbayaq.org (available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.).
What should I do if my school's NCES ID isn't working?
We no longer rely solely on the NCES ID to find your school. You can search our database using your school’s name, address, or NCES ID. If your school is not already in our database, you can add your school by providing the school name and address. Schools added manually will be verified by our staff. You will be notified by email once the school is verified.
If you need additional help, please contact us at fieldtrip@mbayaq.org, and we’ll help get it added to the system.
Can I change my reservation or add students to my reservation?
Please email schoolprograms@mbayaq.org or call 831.648.4800 to see if more students can be added.
