Community Group Visits
Our Community Group Visits provides complimentary group admission to eligible nonprofit organizations and government agencies who visit with the people they serve.
We are not accepting new partners at this time.
About the program
We’re committed to providing access to the Aquarium so that more people can join in our mission to inspire conservation of the ocean.
Our Community Group Visits program offers free group admission for eligible nonprofits and government agencies to bring the low-income and historically excluded people they serve for an Aquarium visit. To visit through Community Group Visits, organizations and agencies must apply and be approved as partners. See below for eligibility details and application instructions.
Community Group Visits reservations are available to eligible organizations from September to May, seven days a week, with limited entry times. In the summer, Community Group Visits are only available for nonprofits serving low-income children through summer camps.
Who is eligible?
Community Group Visits are open to California-based nonprofit organizations and government agencies primarily serving: people experiencing economic hardship, people with disabilities, queer people, migrants; and BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color). School groups should apply for a Field Trip.
The Community Group Visits program provides complimentary admission to these groups, and to the partner organization staff who accompany them. Group sizes must be 15 to 120 guests.
Other ways to visit the Aquarium
Community Group Visits are available for groups only. Check out our access programs for other ways to visit the Aquarium.
