Pauline holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in accounting from Hofstra University and began her career in public accounting as an auditor for KPMG. She joined the Aquarium with a wealth of knowledge from her 20 years of experience leading financial teams for a variety of nonprofit organizations in roles including controller, CFO, and COO. She serves as treasurer for the board of Equality Florida, Florida’s largest LGBTQ advocacy organization, and sits on the finance committee for The William G. and Marie Selby Foundation in Sarasota, Florida.
"I have been fortunate to have lived close to the ocean or bay for my entire life, growing up on Long Island, New York, and now living in Sarasota, Florida. I have always been in awe of the vastness of the ocean and the marine life it supports. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the ocean’s impact on all life. Being taught at a young age that we should leave this world a little better than we found it, I am so grateful for the opportunity to be part of the Aquarium, and to serve its mission."
