Seafood Watch volunteer

Help promote the Seafood Watch program and raise awareness about the importance of sustainable seafood.

Seafood Watch recommendations help people make better seafood choices for a healthy ocean. Each month, thousands of consumer guides are ordered by chefs, restaurants, businesses, conservation programs and everyday people. Help fulfill these orders to get Seafood Watch recommendations out into the world. There are also opportunities to help through outreach events or with the engagement team to further promote the program.

Duties and requirements

• Use mailing materials to fill orders for Seafood Watch consumer guides.
• Prepare activation packets for new Conservation Partners.
• Represent Seafood Watch at tabling events.
• Support our engagement team by assisting with social media.
• Help with general office tasks.
• Have the ability to lift and transport boxes.
• Be able to work in an office environment and sit for extended periods of time.

Time commitment

• Commit to a minimum of four months of service on a four-hour shift every other week. Schedule is flexible on weekdays.
