Special and evening events volunteer

Help us host special celebrations and evening events that promote ocean conservation awareness.

Duties and requirements

• Must be in the Volunteer Guide program and have completed advanced classes to be considered for this role.
• Must have wide availability, especially in the evenings.
• Possess strong social skills to greet guests and promote event programs, booths, and activities.
• Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in loud and crowded environments.
• Must have enthusiasm for the conservation of the ocean and our ongoing efforts toward that goal.
• Must have an approachable demeanor and respect for people from all walks of life.
• Must have the ability to walk from place to place on hard and uneven surfaces.

Time commitment

• A minimum of one year with one shift per month.
