"The ocean has been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember: Splashing in the warm waters of San Juan Beach in the Philippines as a toddler. Snorkeling in the crystal clear waters of Ypao Beach in Guam in third grade. Surfing the choppy Ewa Beach waters in Hawaii with my secret middle-school crush. Dipping my toes in the frigid waters of Tanesashi Beach in Japan during my last days of high school. No matter where I've lived or traveled after that, I've always been drawn back to the ocean. Right here by the ocean is where I feel most at home—it’s where I'll watch my children grow and make their own beautiful memories of the ocean and all its wonders."
