Giant kelp provides food and shelter for a vibrant ecosystem

Look closely and you'll discover an astonishing diversity of fish and invertebrates swimming in our Kelp Forest exhibit and clinging to the kelp and algae.

Watch as leopard sharks glide effortlessly and giant sea bass lumber through the kelp. If you're lucky, a wolf-eel will emerge to gulp some squid or fish.

Then explore the thriving kelp forest community found just beyond our Aquarium walls.
